The weekend of August 20, 2022 was a milestone for the Prototype Cup Germany, with the 3rd round held at the legendary Lausitzring circuit. It was a perfect opportunity for the DUQUEINE D08 to showcase its performance, and it didn’t disappoint during this round of the championship.
🏁 A Strong Representation of DUQUEINE D08
For this 3rd round, 5 DUQUEINE D08 cars were present, with teams WTM, Rinaldi Racing, Koiranen Kemppi Motorsports, Muehlner Motorsport, and Racing Expérience. These cars demonstrated the power and reliability of the D08, a high-performing LMP3 prototype in every condition.
🔧 High-Quality Qualifications
In the qualification sessions, the Racing Expérience D08 no. 12 particularly impressed by securing pole position in qualification 1. In qualification 2, the same car placed on the second row, showcasing the team’s competitiveness.
🌧️ Race 1: A Strong Performance in Wet Conditions
Race 1, held under wet conditions, was a tough battle for the DUQUEINE D08 cars. Despite challenging weather, Racing Expérience managed to secure a podium finish, coming in 3rd place, a fantastic result for the team. The drivers’ endurance and the D08’s superb handling in the rain were key to their success.

On Sunday, the DUQUEINE D08 cars showed even more power, with a victory and a double podium.
Muehlner Motorsport claimed the 1st place, securing a magnificent victory.
Rinaldi Racing also shone, finishing in 2nd place on the podium, confirming the competitiveness of the DUQUEINE D08 in this competition.
