The JDC Motorsports team made a strong impression in this opening round with three D08s on the track.
✔️ The #23 delivered a stellar performance, securing pole position. In the race, drivers Memo Gidley & Alexander Koreiba battled at the front of the pack, ultimately finishing 3rd.
✔️ The #40, which qualified 6th, made an impressive climb to 4th before being relegated to 11th due to race incidents.
✔️ The #43, entered in partnership with Robillard Racing, started 13th and finished 18th after a challenging race.
🚀 Muehlner Motorsport: High Hopes, Tough Luck
Muehlner Motorsport aimed for a strong start to 2022 after a fantastic 2021 season, but faced setbacks:
🔹 The #21 was unable to start the race at the last minute.
🔹 The #18, which qualified 7th, was caught in race incidents and finished 16th.
A frustrating start, but the team remains determined for upcoming races!
🇨🇦 AWA Racing: A Solid Debut with the D08
New to the D08, the Canadian team AWA Racing, in partnership with Mantella Autosport, had a strong first race:

🏁 Muehlner Motorsport: A Pole and a Well-Earned 2nd Place
Muehlner Motorsport entered two D08s in WeatherTech and quickly showed its strength:
✔️ Pole position for the #26 – an impressive feat at the start of the weekend.
✔️ The #6, which qualified 4th, displayed great progress.
Unfortunately, a clutch issue cost the #26 a well-deserved victory. However, the #6 put on a fantastic performance, climbing to 2nd place by the finish.
🚀 AWA Racing Team: A Podium in Its First WeatherTech Race
For its first-ever WeatherTech race with the DUQUEINE D08, the AWA Racing team showed steady improvement throughout the weekend.
✔️ 7th in qualifying, the D08 #13 demonstrated great endurance and climbed four spots to finish 3rd.
An outstanding result for a debut appearance!

Already present in WeatherTech in 2021, 47 Motorsports renewed its commitment for the 2022 Rolex 24 at Daytona.
✔️ Starting 9th, the D08 #7 showed great race pace.
