The weekend at Paul Ricard Circuit, Le Castellet, was a milestone for DUQUEINE. With a pole position and a podium finish in ELMS, as well as impressive performances in the Michelin Le Mans Cup, this round was pivotal for the teams. After nearly three months of waiting, the teams were ready to compete fiercely on the track and showcased resilience and competitiveness against fierce rivals.

🏁 Triumphant Return in ELMS

The ELMS Championship made its grand return to Paul Ricard after a long break, and on Saturday, the WTM #12 made an impact. With an exceptional qualifying lap of 1:51.267, driven by Oscar TUNJO, the car secured pole position. Not far behind, the DKR #4 delivered an excellent qualification, securing the 7th position on the grid, clearly setting its sights on a strong race.

🚗 A Thrilling Race for WTM #12

On Sunday, the WTM #12 confirmed its pace by maintaining its pole position at the start. For over three hours, the car defended its lead against attacks from IDEC Sport and Panis Racing, while maintaining a consistent and steady pace. Despite a race full of twists and challenges, the team executed flawless stints and ultimately finished in second place on the podium. This performance highlights just how serious a contender the #12 car is for the title.

🚀 Impressive Comeback for DKR #4

Meanwhile, the DKR #4 demonstrated its fighting spirit with an impressive comeback. Starting in 7th position, the team managed to climb to 4th after the first hour of racing. Then, through further stints, the car continued to push forward, reaching 2nd position at the halfway mark. Ultimately, it finished 5th in the LMP3 category, earning valuable points for the championship.

🏁 Michelin Le Mans Cup: A Solid Performance

At the same time, the Michelin Le Mans Cup held its third round of the season. During qualifying, the D08 cars showed solid performances, with varied positions on the grid. The DKR #3 proved highly competitive, moving from 7th to 4th place during the race. The Nielsen Racing #4 also continued its ascent, finishing 11th, while the T2 Racing #67 maintained a strong position, finishing in 15th.

One notable performance came from the Murphy Prototype #48, which made a brilliant comeback, gaining 5 places to finish in 22nd.
