For its fifth consecutive season in the ELMS, the DUQUEINE Team aims to be in the top three in every race. The Ales-based team is counting on a crew that combines experience and youth.
For this 2022 season, DUQUEINE Team will be able to count on Memo Rojas, Richard Bradley and Reshad De Gerus to aim for the top 3 in ELMS.
The Mexican, Memo Rojas (40), has renewed the experience with DUQUEINE Team for a second season. Last year he finished in the top 5 overall and 2nd place in Spa. The objective: to do better this season.
At his side, we find Richard Bradley (30). The Briton is making his return in the ranks of the DUQUEINE Team after one season in 2019.
To complete this duo, the Alesian team has chosen to bet on French youth by signing the young Réunionese Reshad De Gerus (18). Reshad has already won the Formula 4 France runner-up title in 2018-2019. With his single-seater experience, Reshad will bring all his youth and his driving skills to the DUQUEINE team.
Max FAVARD, Team Manager : "I'm very happy to welcome Memo back for a second consecutive season with whom we will once again benefit from all his experience. Richard's return to the structure will be the technical pillar in the car. Accompanied by Reshad, a young talent from the single-seater meeting. We are determined to have a great season and to fight for podiums and wins."
Gilles DUQUEINE :"It is with great pleasure that I welcome the announcement of our 2022 dream team!
Memo, the Family !
Richard, the return!
Reshad, the new guy!
Thanks to Max for working hard to get you all together!
I already know that Greg, Arthur, Nicolas, Mick, Guillaume and the whole team will perform well throughout the 2022 season!
I look forward to our first race together to validate our ambitions... See you on the track!"
Memo ROJAS : "I am very happy to confirm my return in 2022 to the DUQUEINE Team, the team I raced with in 2021. I would like to thank Mr Duqueine and Max Favard for reinstating me in the team.
In 2021, we had a great season with some great races and we managed to finish 5th in the championship. This year, the objectives are more important. We want to do much better results and we also want to fight for the championship.
Throughout the winter we have been working on a programme that will help us achieve these goals.
I am very happy to be part of the DUQUEINE team again. Last year I really enjoyed working with the whole team, the mechanics, the engineers...
I'm looking to have a great 2022 season and... Let's go."
Richard BRADLEY : "I am very happy to be rejoining Duqueine for the 2022 season. I had some really good times with them in 2019 and whilst bad luck didn't get us the results we deserved, I really enjoyed the working dynamic and potential within the team. Since then they have brought in some staff who I have worked with in the past and had great success with and with the speed and experience in the driver line up am confident we can aim for top results everywhere we compete."
Reshad DE GERUS : "I am proud to join the DUQUEINE Team for this season in the ELMS. This is a new challenge in my career and I can't wait to start working with the team. We all have the desire and ability to achieve great results and we can't wait to start the season!"
