A Legacy of Innovation and Performance

Since 1976, DUQUEINE has been shaping the future through racing, engineering, and innovation. From the first carbon monocoque F3 to LMP3 excellence, discover a history driven by passion and performance.

The origin of the DUQUEINE Group

The history of DUQUEINE Group began in 1976 when the brothers Gilles and Vincent DUQUEINE built competition single-seaters. This adventure will lead them to a world first : the first F3 with a carbon hull at the end of 1983. In 1989, Gilles DUQUEINE directed his development towards aeronautics to create an international group of rank 1, with 5 production sites around the world (France, Romania, Mexico) and more than 900 employees.

DUQUEINE the constructor

At the end of 2017, the DUQUEINE Group bought the prototype manufacturer NORMA. The activities join DUQUEINE Team on the site of the Pôle Mécanique d’Alès-Cévennes and take the name of DUQUEINE Automotive.

The DUQUEINE D09, the latest in LMP3, shines on the whole international scene.

The Group’s development

On the Alès site, within the Mechanical Hub, DUQUEINE Automotive‘s various departments (Administrative, Marketing, Sales, Design Office, Production, Technical Support) work together to elevate the DUQUEINE D09 on the international stage and develop projects related to new propulsion technologies (hybrid, electric, hydrogen…).

In the heart of the Cévennes

We are located on the Mechanical Hub of Alès in order to benefit from the city’s dynamism towards mechanical sports.
Champions such as Romain Dumas and Stéphane Sarrazin come from there. The agglomeration of Alès is a major support for the development of mechanical sports.

The recently refurbished track allows it to be used in both directions (unique in Europe) with two different track configurations per direction.

2025

A new era on track for DUQUEINE.
The year 2025 marks a major milestone for DUQUEINE Automotive, with the start of the European Le Mans Series (ELMS) and Michelin Le Mans Cup seasons, and the debut of our new prototypes. It also sees the official launch of the D09, the new generation LMP3 prototype, the result of a year of intensive development. Designed and manufactured in our workshops, the D09 is making its first competitive laps with the ambition of delivering on the promises of performance and reliability that guided its creation.
At the same time, our LMP2 commitment continues with the #30 car entered in the ELMS. From the very first round in Barcelona, DUQUEINE Team showcased its potential by claiming pole position, proof of the collective effort of the entire team and the competitiveness of our structure.
Throughout the season, our prototypes shone with numerous podium finishes — including at Le Mans and Spa-Francorchamps — several pole positions, a strong victory at Silverstone, and above all, a major achievement: winning the Michelin Le Mans Cup championship, secured even before the Portimão finale by the #85 car of the R-ACE GP team.
The 2025 season promises to be decisive, driven by innovation, performance, and the commitment of our teams across every front of endurance racing.

Entirely dedicated to the development, engineering, and validation of the new D09, this year mobilized all of our technical and industrial expertise. Designed to push the boundaries of performance, reliability, and innovation, the D09 represents the natural evolution of our endurance racing know-how. After months of design, simulation, and rigorous testing, the end of 2024 saw the official launch of the production of the first D09 chassis — opening a new chapter for DUQUEINE and its customers.
